The LA Permaculture Guild (yes, you) in conjunction with city repair are continuing a median takeover in Venice across from the Binocular Building @ 345 Main Street.

I'm in the process of getting approval from the city. Right now I need an irrigation plan drawn for them. Can anyone help me with this?

This hasn't stopped us from beginning work but we're now breaking a long hiatus and continuing work as the city is mostly aware and happy with the direction. In fact I am working on the Gabion block retaining walls today, Wednesday Jan.25. This is a basket of chain link containing urbanite holding the slope for mucho plantings this spring or sooner. I would love to see modest completion by Earthday (Late April).

Your suggestions are needed! This is a permaculture demonstration site and we are thinking about best practices for interactive art as well as creative earthworx. Fundraising must also soon begin in earnest which will be a great outreach opportunity in Venice.
